Python Tutor

For those of you who have forgotten, Python Tutor is a mailing list full of people who answer questions about Python-related problems.

It's often a resource when I run into some error, and the answers have propelled me along at several bottlenecks.

The main reason my agilfoy@frontiernet.net email inbox was so packed is because of all the Python Tutor digest emails. I was discussing this with Lee, and he suggested a way I could read it in newsgroup form via regular newsreader program.

Another thing about the digests: Messages related to the same problem are often spread over several digests. (Newsreaders have related messages largely 'threaded'.) Furthermore, looking at the old digests, many of the questions relate to an avenue of Python use that I'm not using, or the questions are simply above the level where I'm at, so to speak.

My regular email is 'saved' via a forward to AlanFromRochester@gmail.com if appropriate, Python Tutor messages that get my attention are forwarded to an email address I created for with a joke name: Calvin.Ooglemeyer@gmail.com

Also, my own questions are the ones I'm most likely to want to hear about, and when someone replies to one of my messages, it's often, if not always, CCed to my regular inbox, where I can read it like a normal email.
