One thing Ken said when I was discussing my "technical difficulties" (messed-up computers) was that I'd still come out OK on the senior project, that it may amoutn to me just not being able to "show off" as much as I'd like to.
Also, I figured that the computer problems were a general problem that affected my senior project work, among other things. Thus, the computer problems weren't really part of the project, just something that affected it. But Ken said that I can certainly discuss such things as what may have caused the problem, and how it was fixed, when giving my final presentation. (Ken, did I get that right?)
I'm in the school computer lab right now, and I must say that today, Thursday the 19th, wasn't the worst day to be outside walking between SOTA and SWW...
I get my own account set up on one of the school computers, helping to keep my files both out of the clutter, and less acessible to those yahoos...er, my fellow students. :) [The standard computer-use setup at SWW has everyone using "visitor" accounts, except for special cases such as myself. This means that people are less likely to guzzle up school server space with such things as music files.]
Call me a complete geek/nerd, but I felt a lot better after I started with these extended work sessions on school computers, not only because it's a large step towards getitng my Project completed, but also that I feel good now that I'm back to writing code. :D

I can definitely see computer problems being a part of your report about computing. Why is it that after 30+ years of personal computing we still have so many problems? Were television sets still so buggy and problematic 30 years after their introduction to the masses?
Does Microsoft make television sets?
:D
But really, the security-scan bullsh!t and all that, that I had to put up with when the computer was basically working, was ridiculous enough.
