A thought: At the meeting, I mentioned to the entire group a Digital Design class Nick taught way back when he worked at SWW. (Geez…casting my HS freshman year as “way back when?”…) The HTML, and later simple CSS, that the web-building part of the class entailed, started me off on the computer programming road that has lead me here today.

I’d mentioned this to Nick earlier, and he mentioned his thoughts on the matter. “I was talking about this with Suzanne [his wife], I said ‘This is why I do this (teaching).’”
